Field stripped when I first got it home everything seemed tight and didn't make any noise. Stripped factory grease from it and now there is a small rattle from the FCU/ right hand side of FCU when looking down the frame. Sig P365 XL Problems: #1 - SIG P365XL Pinky Extension Mag Issues. The only time its ever happened with mine was when I was shooting factory reloads of 115 grain ammo. Failed to lock back twice in 100 rounds. Never happened using either 124 or 147 grain ammo so I quit using 115 grain.

The actual shape of the bullet nose at the opening can be picky, tho. One will never have an issue, another might. How it rides up the ramp and the feed angle where it intersects can be touchy. Ordered a couple 12 rounders from Osage county, in the meantime I picked up a 12 rounder at a gun store. It was about as hard to load 12 round, like the 10 rounders were.Sig Sauer P365. Small guns tend to be hard to control, so the more control, the better. The gun’s controls are simple and easy to reach. The slide lock is small but textured with a ‘step’ that allows your thumb to reach it with ease. The gun’s magazine release is triangular and is a low profile design.Fortunately it causes no problem with my XL hands. I have discovered I shoot just as well with the flush 10 round mag though. As I noted elsewhere, this is a testament to the confidence that Sig owners place in the P365 line up IMO. This contributed to building my confidence in purchasing a Sig P365. I came into this discussion wanting the XL given the improved ballistics with the longer barrel of the XL.

I have had issues with practice ammo misfires. there is a tap mark on the round and if I put it back in the clip it will fire. I get a misfire every 4th or 5th round or random. I sent it back to sig twice. they replaced trigger mechanism and trigger bar and its still having same issue.
