A contagion zaw allows you to reclaim ranged attacks whilst only having a melee equipped. I find it preferable to using a glaive as they're pretty clunky on console. Your mileage may vary. I use a sepfahn with exodia contagion and can officially say it’s by far the most fun melee option for me.
